About Us Volunteer Your Time To Help In Our work
Volunteer Your Time to help with a number of functions that are required to operate Safe harbor Free Clinic. This list was updated April 24, 2013.
Medical Providers - Physicians, Physician’s Assistants, are needed to attend to our patients needs.
We need Physicians in order to expand the number of patients we can see each evening.
Nurses, Medical Assistants, Phlebotomists, Dispensary Aids are needed to help meet our patients needs.
Greeters - meet and greet our patients, settle them in the waiting area and obtain needed personal information.
Data Entry - enter patient personal data in our computer database.
Sign Out / Care & Encouragement - meet with our patients after they have seen the doctor to measure their satisfaction with their visit and to determine need for additional clinic assistance.
Resource Interviewer - meet with our patients to determine their additional needs for community resources and to direct them to the appropriate providers.
Information Technology - support the clinic wireless network, computer hardware, medical records system and web site.
Spanish Interpreters are needed to help our Spanish speaking patients communicate their needs to the clinic staff.
