Safe Harbor Free Clinic was founded in October of 2008 by community leaders and medical practitioners as a facility providing quality, respectful and loving free health care and referral service to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the underinsured in a safe and welcoming environment.

WOMEN'S HEALTH CLINIC AT SAFE HARBOR FREE CLINIC

Safe Harbor Free Clinic now operates a Women's Health Clinic on the fourth Friday of every month and provides up to 5 patients per night with comprehensive gynecological services.

Among the other health care services to be provided are free pap smears and free testing for sexually transmitted diseases. Medical services that will not be available include ultrasounds, colposcopies, implanted birth control (including IUDs), and pregnancy termination.

Anyone interested in being seen at the upcoming Women's Health Clinic can make an appointment by calling Safe Harbor at 425-870-7384. The clinic will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Safe Harbor currently runs a podiatry (foot) clinic on the first Friday of the month.

Safe Harbor Services

Medical services are provided on-site by licensed/registered health professionals who volunteer at SHFC.

Scope of Services

Startup services include the diagnosis and management of acute care conditions including basic office laboratory testing and referral for more complex problems requiring additional diagnostic work-up or ongoing care. Well child visits and immunizations to age 18 will be provided. Information and referral to the array of social services in the tri-county area will be offered. Spiritual assistance will be available if requested. Medications will be prescribed through the $4 monthly generic programs offered by local pharmacies. Pain medications will not be prescribed.  

Safe Harbor offers lab services however x-ray is not yet available

Safe Harbor does not have an on site pharmacy or dispensary.  

Safe Harbor offers a Chronic Care Clinic for patients requiring ongoing care for the following conditions; diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol and thyroid issues on the first anf third Friday of each month.  Chronic Care patients must be seen at our walk-in clinic and be referred by one of our pyhsicians prior to being given an appointment for this clinic.

Womens Clinic is available by appointment with comprehensive gynecological services.
